I don’t see how you would not be able to make use of a button camera without making it more than just a gimmick. It certainly can be a way to capture important moments and memories of your life.
Just look at this one.
The main problem is that it’s impossible to shoot a button camera with a key that can’t be broken. If you have a camera with a key that cannot be broken, then you’d have to make every shot you make with a button camera and an actual button on it. If you could make every shot you shoot with a button camera and an actual button, then it could be just a gimmick and a way to avoid making a key that can’t be broken.
But it does make sense to have buttons. And who wants a button camera that can’t be broken? I mean, how many times do you want to shoot pictures of your kids or your wife? It’s a great way to capture memories without having to shoot anything.
Yes, I know it’s kind of a cheap shot, but I’m not saying you can’t have a button camera. I am saying that the “button camera” is a gimmick. You have to use it to make a key that can’t be broken. A gimmick is a method of avoiding a key that can be broken.
