So I was thinking about the fact that I don’t really have a specific destination in mind when I do things like delete photos from Google Maps. Sometimes it’s easy enough to simply delete, but some times I’m not so sure that it’s something I want to do.
The best thing to do is to ask yourself why you’re deleting something. If you just want to delete it, then the answer is because it’s an image of a person. But if you’re deleting an image because you feel someone might be hurt by it, then you should probably just delete it.
The problem is that the image is of a person. It’s an image that is most likely going to be seen and possibly touched by the person that’s having the image deleted, so if you want to delete it, you’re most likely going to have to do it with the person whose image you’re deleting. It’s also possible that the person whose image you’re deleting has a history of being harmed by images of people that they would normally only see if they were at that exact location.
My advice would be to find a different image. This one is very small and the person is most probably not going to be touching it, so its probably not going to be on a map in any way, shape, or form. Also, if you want to see the person who put this image up, then you should probably find a different image. There is a lot of people who would probably like to see this woman who is in this image.
There is a little something to this story though. I’ve been a part of Google maps for about a year and a half. I’m a fairly big Google Maps aficionado (I have a few friends who are also), and I was surprised to see this news. I’ve been using Google Maps on iOS for quite awhile now without incident, but I have never seen anyone just walk through a Google map to the exact location of an image and not see it.
I have seen that happen in the past, but I have only ever seen it happen once. That time I was walking through an area with a lot of old photos and music and we were playing with the camera. I don’t know if there is a bug in Google Maps that will allow this, but I don’t see how it would be hard to do. There are a lot of photos in this image that do not appear in the original Google image.
Google maps is basically a collection of images. Google Maps is a pretty effective tool for finding a location on a map. However, it can’t really help you find out what image you are looking at because of the way it is formatted. Most of your images are very large and a lot of them come from the same place. The format is like a photo album and Google can’t really give you a hint about what you are looking at.
This is one of the issues I have with google maps. They want to be the best map maker and they cant really match what you are looking at. With this image, there are multiple photos of the same place on the map. It would be nice if Google would provide a “delete” option in the bottom left corner. That way, if you were looking for something specific, you could easily delete it from the map.
I agree that Google can be a bit of a pain sometimes but this is something they should fix.
Yes, deleting photos from Google Maps is quite annoying. I’m sure Google has come up with great solutions for this problem, like removing that pesky search result if you want to delete it, but it just seems like a shame to me that Google is so slow about it.
