The beauty of this is that you can group emails so that they appear in the same box. You can also create individual Gmail accounts for each person and group them together. I’ve been using this for years, but I’ll admit I’m still learning. I have been doing it for about two months now.
One of the cool things about this is that if you have two or more people in a group, they can receive the same email and automatically be grouped together. You can also set up people to be more selective in what they read by setting up different “read groups.” You can even group different email addresses together. As a result, you can get an idea what emails a certain person is going to receive from a specific sender.
gmail groups are a great way for people to keep in touch with each other. This is especially useful if you have friends who don’t get along with each other (or if you’re trying to maintain a certain relationship). You can do a lot with the features of gmail groups, too. For example, you can set up a conversation for people to go on a date with.
gmail also has a very nice and intuitive interface. There are a lot of nice and convenient features to be able to use, but I don’t think it’s worth the distraction.
Again, I don’t like the idea of using a communication tool as your way to keep in touch with people either you can do the same with email. And gmail is not great. Its one of the worst email clients for this purpose.
The gmail integration is a nice feature, but I don’t like the idea of having a conversation with people you didnt know. Its one of the major reasons I don’t use google search.
It is the most annoying feature, and I dont think its worth it. I would actually be more willing to use it.
Gmail could be fixed, but for the time being, it is best not to rely on the feature. Its a good idea in that it allows you to group emails with the same subject and thus make it easier to find.
I have a friend who has a client that uses google search. She always sends an email to herself, usually with the subject “My birthday blah blah blah”. When she gets a reply from the company, it doesn’t really matter what subject it is she is typing in, because the reply always includes the exact same subject.
Gmail has a feature called “grouping emails with the same subject”. It’s a feature that can be used to group all your emails about the same thing and make it easier to find them later. I use it every day, and it has saved me from a few of my emails to the point where I now only check in emails about things that have a subject that starts with “My”.
