For the most part, this is all very good. We don’t have to spend too much time on it all. We’ve got this whole world of music, video games, and movies in one huge collection, and we’re already well into the final few days of the latest game. As for the soundtrack, we have to keep it simple, because that sounds like a lot of stuff. I think it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to us.
The developers have decided to include the soundtrack as separate files while the game is in progress. Each game will have a separate folder and the music will be in it. Each track will be made available after the game is completed for listening at home.
We don’t know if the game will be available for download on console, or if it’ll be on Steam (which is a little weird, given that Deathloop will be released on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network). We also don’t know if there’ll be a retail release in the future either, but we’ll just have to wait and see now.
