I do my best to take very good notes (as far as I can, anyway) but the fact is those are the notes I’ll probably never look at again. So I’m wondering how to keep them as good as they were.
I’m glad you asked because this has got me wondering the same thing. The camera system in Deathloop is a little quirky, but not actually that bad. There are a couple of things that I’d change if I were replacing my camera, but I won’t go into too much detail for now.
All of the camera issues are resolved in the game’s version 0.6 update. The reason it doesn’t work in Deathloop is because the camera is being set to the first version of the game. This means that when the game says there are 8 Visionaries on the island it actually has 8 separate islands all with different camera views.
There are other camera bugs in the game that can cause it to move as you move. The camera is also very light sensitive, which means that if you have it set to a light and take a long shot, it can be too dark when you start shooting. In Deathloop it has no problems with either camera unless you’re shooting from a low angle. A light is also very difficult to see through.
The game actually has no problems with the cameras, but if you try to shoot at an island with the cameras set to the same camera view as the island that is already in the frame, then you will probably end up with your own camera view in the game.
The weird thing is that Deathloop’s camera is a very simple 3D video camera. The 3D camera can be moved so that you can view the same section over and over again, but it actually has no problems with the camera. The only time it does have a problem is when you are using the camera to shoot at a wall (even though it is set to the same camera view as the wall).
The fix is to make sure that wherever you are using your camera, you set it to the same camera view as the wall. If the camera is set to a different camera view than the wall, you should switch to that. Of course, it’s not really that weird because it’s the same camera view as the wall. The issue is that if the camera is set to the same camera view and the camera is set to a different camera view, the camera won’t work correctly.
The camera view may be the same as the wall, but the camera is also in focus and zoomed in on the camera. There you have it, camera view issues.
