I did not know the title of this song before I downloaded it, but I was pleasantly surprised. The song is called “Thandavam” and it is not an English translation of Thandavam. It actually means “briefcase” which is a popular Indian term for a desk or briefcase that is used for carrying paper documents. But the song works for me because there is still an element of the classic Indian style of Bollywood music in it.
Some of the songs are from the movie Thandavam which is one of my favorite Indian movies. I haven’t seen the movie before, but I was looking forward to it. I’m so excited to hear that there is going to be some songs in the soundtrack.
Although the soundtrack is available for purchase online, it has never made it to my personal collection – I have downloaded the CDs from my iPod, but I have never been a huge fan of the iPod’s music selection. But having said that, my iPod is still more than capable of holding soundtracks, so there is a good chance I will have the soundtrack on it eventually.
As a person who loves music, I am SO excited to hear that there are going to be some songs in the soundtrack. However, I can’t wait to see the album in action. I cannot wait to get my hands on this album and actually listen to it.
After spending 3 hours on the phone with one of the producers of the album, and after seeing the tracklist in action, I can definitely see why this album is so good. I’m hoping for a few more weeks of listening time, and I’m excited about the possibility of getting to actually hear the album.
The album is, in fact, a collection of songs written by the same person. It’s called thandavam, and it covers the whole theme of the album, but it’s the only one that has a few exclusive tracks. I was given the chance to meet the producer, T.P. Mardy, who is a good friend of the band.
The song titles are from the album, and they’re based on a song I wrote and composed for the first time (see below).
