The songs by the American metalcore band Tulasi has been gaining popularity in recent years, and I have been enjoying it. I don’t think I have ever listened to them before, and I’ve been happy with the songs I’ve gotten in my lifetime. I guess that should tell you that they are definitely not for the faint of heart.
Tulasi is a band from the Philippines, whose music is a blend of punk and metal. They have a decent fan base, but I really can’t say that they have my attention. In my opinion, all their songs are either too fast or too slow to be considered good.
The songs are basically the same, but the tempo is always slow. And at the end of every song, there is a short pause, then the band starts singing the same song again. The songs are kind of like “Pigfunk” songs, as they have an energetic vibe and sometimes, a punk vibe. The songs are mostly instrumental, though you can hear a guitar part in a few songs.
Not even the band is any good. One of the songs, “Baggy Baggy,” has a weirdly distorted guitar. The other songs are mostly the same, and all of them have a fast pace. In fact, there are so many songs that it’s hard to listen to them all.
